We fight our way across the bridge and up the stairs of Archangel’s base. He takes out a few mercs before removing his mask, revealing himself as none other than Garrus Vakarian!

Me: Hey check it out, it’s Garrus. That guy who wasn’t your boyfriend that we brought along all the time in the first game.

Mom: What the heck’s he doing here?

Me: Well, it looks like we can ask him. Do you want to?

Garrus explains that he got fed up with the bureaucracy of the Citadel, and decided to come to Omega where hunting criminals was a lot less complicated. He’s happy to join up with us again.

Mom: Where is my boyfriend, anyway.

Me: We don’t know right now, he’s probably still in the military.

Mom: Oh he still thinks I’m dead, doesn’t he?

Me: Yeah.

Mom: Well, he’s sure going to be happy to see me then!
